When purchasing Coup, i was worried I would have been really unsatisfied about the quality of the cardboard coins. This is exactly what I was looking for to replace them.

They look sweet and are so much more substantive than the cardboard tokens that come with the game.

These are a wonderful addition to coup. Very high quality and attractive.

I was really impressed with the quality of the tokens, as well as the attention to detail in the etching. No complaints about the product. I do, however, feel the shipping packaging was somewhat excessive. All I had ordered were the tokens and some card sleeves, and I think a padded envelope would have been much better suited than a box full of shipping peanuts.

I play Coup with a group of co-workers at lunch a lot, and bought these on a lark, and I'm really glad I did. Above and beyond being just much higher quality than the cardboard pieces, the addition of the 3 isk token is really convenient since so much seems to happen around multiples of 3. Not just the Duke and Assassin either. 6 isk is one short of being able to Coup, and 9 is one short of being forced to Coup. So if you see a stack of 3s in front of an opponent, you know they're close to a big move. We even took to using these tokens with the sequel Coup Rebellion G54, which uses the same 1 and 3 denominations. The acrylic tokens really show their value there because you can tell the difference between 1s and 3s in a stack, which you can't do with cardboard. Plus they just feel nicer. I'm a little worried that we might not have quite enough tokens for G54, but it hasn't been a problem so far, even in a 6 player game. If it ever becomes a regular issue, I'd probably just get a second set at this point.
