I picked up two of these, looking to fit my big box and smorgasbox. Since they'd been labeled as being the same size, I only measured the RDI 5 box for compatibility.
I was able to use a scroll saw to cut the supports down to size, but not my favorite. Unfortunately, you can't measure the bottom inside of your boxes without ripping out the standard inserts that are glued in, destroying them in the process.

I'm a die-hard Broken Token fan. I have assembled dozens of BT organizers for myself and my friends. I have always loved the inserts and think that BT makes the best. This is the first Broken Token organizer I would not recommend!

The cardboard dividers that come inside the Character Trove box are halfway decent. Which on it's own make the Broken Token insert not entirely necessary. However, that cardboard insert is very securely glued into the box, and I completely destroyed my box trying to get it out! One side of the box bent and is creased, one corner burst, most of the interior has the top layer of paper torn and exposed, and the remaining glue required me to cover it with paper to prevent the cards from sticking to it!

The organizer itself is typical Broken Token quality, which in general is very good. I love the fact that the dividers are made in such a way that you can have two of them at the same spot in adjacent card rows. My only real nitpick with was the tape used to hold some pieces in place after laser cutting was so sticky it wouldn't come off and left an ugly residue on the wood.

So, to recap; the organizer is good. But why do you need it when the cardboard organizer that come in the box is adequate... and the act of removing it can potentially destroy your box? I will forever regret getting this organizer every time I open my box and see the damage.

The RDI: Character Trove organizer is absolutely fantastic. At this point, I have everything available through retail/Kickstarter up to RDI 7 & Evil Pooky as well as a few promo drink and prize cards. Broken Token’s insert is a needed improvement to the cardboard insert. I have all the drink decks and prizes in the box, along with 40 characters, a good supply of coins, and quite a few of the bits needed by some individual characters. The player mats and the ship and dungeon event decks fit nicely to the side of the organized between the spacers as well. I am hopeful I can fit another one in the Kickstarter Smorgasbox for future expansions.

While I love how easy it is to put together, it doesn't quite fit everything in it. While it does fit 49 decks with sleeves, it only really assumes that it's only the character decks you're putting in it. If you have all the expansions, it won't fit any of the drink decks or the special decks that come with some of the characters. I understand there's only so much space to work with in the box, but if there was a smaller organizer for the Smorgasbord box, I would buy it in an instant. The dividers help take the decks out when you do have everything, because of the very gracious indents and it looks very nice. The bit boxes are great, but they also don't fit a token that comes with an expansion, it's just a little too thin. Again, I understand the space issue. I would recommend it for people that don't have everything, or don't want to sleeve it.

Was simple to put together, fit snug in the box as always and has been fitting all my sleeved cards no problem.
