These laser-cut blue acrylic tiles are perfect for bringing a little more life to your game of Terraforming Mars, by Stronghold Games.

This product is a set of 10 tiles cut from transparent blue acrylic.

Acrylic may arrive with protective paper backing on both sides and should be removed before assembly. Having trouble removing all the paper backing from the acrylic sheets? We recommend Simple Green to get any residual adhesive off.

These don't fit into the insert

These (and the other hexes), are great little add-on's for the game. However, they are thicker than the original cardboard cut-outs, and the size variance was never factored in when Broken token designed their terraforming insert. That's right, the broken token insert - doesn't support their own add-ons. Response: It's true they don't all fit in the specific place for the ocean tiles, however It is possible to just store the two "extra" Ocean tiles in the front of the greenery/city acrylics and it will all fit nicely, as it's not used during game play it's not a huge hassle. Perhaps not ideal, but it works. We try to maximize the space, but alas are subject to the rules of physics and we just can't make the inside of the box any bigger and we really can't make the acrylic any thinner without running the risk of a lot of "broken tokens" and nobody wants that.

Really cool looking ocean tiles

I liked the idea of having clear blue oceans for my copy of Terraforming Mars, and these tiles work very well. They're a little thicker than the cardboard tiles that come with the game, but not so much that they look weird next to the greenery tiles.
