Our clear, acrylic overlay trays designed specifically for Terraforming Mars: Ares Expedition solve the issue of run-away cubes.  Simply place our tray over the player board and enjoy!

Trays are sold in packs of 4.

Acrylic may arrive with protective paper backing on both sides and should be removed before assembly. Having trouble removing all the paper backing from the acrylic sheets? We recommend Simple Green to get any residual adhesive off.

Everything was as promised -shipping

Everything was as promised -shipping and the product but it would be perfect if there was a way to anchor the player boards to the product, even a small lip on the bottom to keep the boards in place would be nice. I'm going to use double-sided tape but I wish there was a less permanent solution.

Wrong size

The overlays do not align with the player boards. They’re about 2mm off vertically. Bought as a Christmas gift and was severely disappointed. Skip these— buy the deluxe version of the boardgame that comes with dual-layer boards instead.

Perfect fit

Overlays fit perfectly over the player boards. I really appreciated that they sold these as a full pack of four, as it’s nice to have one for every player. These are a perfect upgrade if you have the retail version of the game and didn’t get the dual-layer player boards from the Kickstarter. Definitely helps to prevent things from getting out of place.
