Set of ten themed metal coins by Fantasy Coins LLC.

These heavy-weight, finely-minted coins are crafted from zinc and nickel with high-relief 3D detailing and a hand-buffed finish.

The Colonial Silver coins are circle shaped and have an antique silver finish. The art on these coins is reminiscent of historical American coins and depicts the face of Lady Liberty with a Roman numeral five (V) on one side, and a Roman numeral three (III) surrounded by a laurel wreath on the reverse.

Best of the colonial series

These are the best of the three.
The number side is fantastic, with three solid columns surrounded by a beautiful laurel wreath.
The woman face side is equally well done, although the figure is not that elegant and quite severe (the neck is so large that seems even out of proportions).
The color is the weakest element, it could have had more of a blue tone, as depicted in some pictures. Instead it's a plain grey silver.
Still amazing nevertheless.

The main thing missing to this series is a '1'/copper coin as good as the other two, and a number 'X'/ten coin to complete the set. Without it, you may need to have lots of 5/'V' to use them on certain games.

Great for victory points or 7 Wonders

The Silver 3 coin has a worn/dull grey color to it. On one side it has a large roman numeral III with laurels around it (very victory-point looking). On the reverse is the head of a woman (evokes Lady Liberty). There is also a small V on this side (as with all 3 coins of the series), which is a little confusing since this is the III coin. It is a little disappointing that coin is exactly the same size as the Gold 5 coin, so they are not distinctive by feel; it is also just about as thick and has almost the same weight/heft. Overall, the coin definitely evokes Colonial America, but not so overpowering that you could not use this for other games or simply for victory points. We also plan to use this for 7 Wonders, though not an exact match of the 3 point coin, it still works well for much less.
