Tokens of Affection (14)

Looks like these haven't been reviewed in a bit. As of writing, 1/5/2026, they have changed how they produce these. Mine came in a simple bag, pre-punched. At first I thought they weren't red, but they just have a thin, protective brown paper(?) covering them. The paper is, unfortunately, a little bit tricky to peel back. Ones that were already a little frayed weren't so bad. So maybe just playing with them a few times might "loosen up" the paper to make the removal easier? You need a little fingernail to get 'em going.

I also saw one comment that said they were "too thin." It was an older comment, but I wanted to address it. The most current ones are quite easy to pick up, about the height of two quarters stacked on each other. For the particularly sausage-fingered they may be tricky, but I'd call their size reasonable.

I didn't include a photo because, once the paper is peeled off, they look just like the provided photo.

Like others have stated, this product is unreasonably difficult to assemble. Not only did it take way too long to peel off the paper stuck to the acrylic, but it was ever harder to pop out the tokens. Due to the extreme difficultly of popping out the tokens, most tokens have sharp or chipped edges making them basically unusable. Look on Etsy for this product, because I guarantee you’ll find a seller who actually cares about the quality.

Exactly what I was looking for to replace some hearts in a game.

I hand out these tokens when I play Savage Worlds and my players take a wound. It's a nice color, I only wish they were twice as big. If they snap off you'll need to cut off the larger parts and file them down, which isn't an issue.

The hearts are hard to punch out of the mold and some will chip off a part when doing so. Requires some filling to avoid poking yourself with sharp edges.
