Good quality. Bought a set of 12 to play coin game is Zeni Hajiki after playing Ghost of Yotei. The weight of the coins works well for the game :)
The basic concept and parts of the organizer are excellent. It follows the familiar "fit it the box so you can access it easily" formula that Broken Token does so well. A few caveats: (1) The map tiles simply won't lay flat in the tile box and can't be easily accessed from there. You really need to pull all the tiles out and arrange them roughly by number and size to make finding the right tile easier. (2) There aren't enough dividers to keep all the cards separate but accessible. I ordered the extra dividers, but still need more. Another card box would be helpful as well, as would a way to label each card section.
I buy these strictly as giveaways at ren fair. Every time I go and hand them out to people in epic costumes, or to bartenders (on top of a real tip) they always seem stunned by the quality.
These coins, along with the Ranger Silver and Gold coins made for a great stocking stuffer, my wife really loved them! They are a nice feeling metal coin and the inner dragon in me is telling me we should get enough for a full hoard. They are a great addition for any games that track money with coins and we love using them!
The extra dividers work great however they do not match the picture. These are a sturdy cardboard instead of wood and do not match the dividers that came with the original organizer.
I'm using them as a replacement for cardboard chits. Specifically ferryman obols. They have such a good weight to them, and they're a nice size. All three packs I bought (in the same order) used the same consistent design (a stag on one side, a bee on the other) which was perfect for what I needed. I'm extremely satisfied with my purchase :)
I just started playing Carcassonne, but I plan I getting a few of expansions. Now I am ready for them.
Looks like these haven't been reviewed in a bit. As of writing, 1/5/2026, they have changed how they produce these. Mine came in a simple bag, pre-punched. At first I thought they weren't red, but they just have a thin, protective brown paper(?) covering them. The paper is, unfortunately, a little bit tricky to peel back. Ones that were already a little frayed weren't so bad. So maybe just playing with them a few times might "loosen up" the paper to make the removal easier? You need a little fingernail to get 'em going.
I also saw one comment that said they were "too thin." It was an older comment, but I wanted to address it. The most current ones are quite easy to pick up, about the height of two quarters stacked on each other. For the particularly sausage-fingered they may be tricky, but I'd call their size reasonable.
I didn't include a photo because, once the paper is peeled off, they look just like the provided photo.
The width of the center area seems too narrow for the mat but more importantly, all of my cards do not fit. Your website says the organizer can hold up to 1875 cards (with premium sleeves). After reorganizing the insert in several different ways, it will still not accommodate all of my 1260 cards.
Bought them for Wyrmspan and they are perfect. They are the perfect weight and make an awesome clinking sound.
Theyre absolutely perfect!!! I got a nunch of these coins to make a custom zeni hajiki game for my bf for christmas! He loves ghost of yotei, and I wanted to bring this game to life for him! The coins are a great weight, great size, nice color, and make a really satisfying sound just like the game when they hit the table! 10/10 would recommend the broken token for any coin or token needs!
