Set of ten themed metal coins by Fantasy Coins LLC.

These heavy-weight, finely-minted coins are crafted from zinc and nickel with high-relief 3D detailing and a hand-buffed finish.

The Colonial Copper coins are circle shaped and have an antique copper finish. The art on these coins is reminiscent of historical American coins and depicts a bundle of sticks with an axe on one side, similar to Mercury dimes, and the Roman numeral I (one) on the other side, surrounded by a wreath of wheat.

Dimensions: 25.3mm x 2.2mm

Perfect Coins

I purchased the Colonial Coins (Copper, Silver, Gold) and they are perfectly awesome!! Our game nights are now next level! Thank you Broken Token!!

Weakest and more expensive of the series

The '1'/copper coin is the smallest and has the poorest quality of the colonial series. Some parts are too bright and shiny, and the background of most coins is ruined, as if there are small bubbles. The art is good, but the small size sacrifices it a bit. Also, despite being so small compared to the silver and gold coins, it is even more expensive for the same number of coins. They could have at least included more coins, to get closer to the price/quality offer of the others. Still a good coin, just not the best.

Never a bad product!

I use these coins for props and they are always great quality.

Great for victory points or 7 Wonders

The Copper 1 coin has a dull copper look in the recesses, but oddly highlighted copper shine on the raised surfaces. On one side it has a large roman numeral I with corn or wheat forming laurels on each side. I thought the reverse had a Greek/Roman column on it, but under a magnifying lens, it is actually a bundle of something (wheat or sticks?). There is a branch with leaves or ivy wrapping around the bundle. Unless really looking under a magnifying lens, this will still look like a Roman column with ivy. here is also a small V on this side (as with all 3 coins of the series), which is a little confusing since this is the I coin. The coin is much thinner and thus lighter than the other two coins of the series, so it is easily distinguished. Overall, the coin still evokes Colonial America, but not so overpowering that you could not use this for other games or simply for victory points (the side with the roman numeral I at quick glance still looks like typical victory point laurels). We also plan to use this for 7 Wonders, though not an exact match of the 1 point coin, it still works well for much less.
