Fits great, stores the pieces well, plenty of space for extra stuff!
Love the token tray - high quality, easy to assemble. Keep all the deluxe components plus room for expansions all in the original deluxe tin! RESPONSE: Thanks for the great reviews Derek, sounds like you are ready to do a lot of gaming, and we are happy to be part of the fun!
Just the money tray is worth it. Now I think the original insert that comes with the game is fine. It does it's job. I'd give it a B+ which is better than most inserts. The Broken Token Insert is perfect though. There's more room in case there's ever expansions, the token tray is super, and there's a better ability to sort cards instead of just by Base, Expansion and Player Starting Cards (which I did in the original insert). I wouldn't say this is an absolutely necessary purchase if you don't mind the original limitations, but I have zero complaints about this one.
Perfect fit on the Deluxe tin and it looks great! The instructions were clear and easy to follow. If this is your first time assembling wood inserts, definitely have wood glue and a rubber mallet handy. However, the pieces fit together very well and the mallet is only necessary for a few light taps to get the pieces in tight as tight as you can. I've put together inserts from other companies and fitting those pieces is next to impossible without a rubber mallet. All in all, extremely happy with my purchase!
There isn't much to say about the product itself. It's a wooden divider. If that's all you needed than to say the least, grab this if you have plastic sleeves on all of your Machi Koro cards! Everything fit nice and neat, and I found I had more space for organizer slots than I needed (because I'm admittedly one of those folks that just plays with the giant monster of a deck). The pieces fit snuck and secure, and aside from maybe needing some tape to hold the corners together (which I planned to anyway) it fits snuggly in the tin. Also, the coin separator is a must have for playing Machi Koro. I don't want to think of how much time was wasted on games searching that dumb pouch for a copper coin.
