You are able to hold all of Takenoko and expansion inside the box with the box closing as well. It was very easy to put together. I used a little glue in a few areas and it was solid. Very happy with the purchase, I will be buying more from Broken Token.

I picked up what I guess was an early release version of this insert as I got it during the Kickstarter campaign. I am a big fan of Broken Token inserts and wish I could afford them for all of my favorite games! This one went together well, and has unique art that fits the theme of Takenoko extremely well. I like the way it was structured, but as others have mentioned I wish they had not designed the insert to fit even with the top of the box. I have the regular game manual, the expansion game manual (both thin, of course) and then the player boards. When adding those at the top of the box the lid no longer sits even but instead lifts slightly. The primary culprit is the set of player boards. The manuals are thin enough that I think if there was a slight cut-out for the player boards everything would be fine.

Another great product from you guys again! Fits perfect with no lift with expansion. Lid closes flush and was very simple to put together without a video. Only spot I had a little trouble was at the end sliding the piece in between the 3 slots but other then that it was another great build and awesome product! Keep it up guys!

Overall I am very happy with this purchase however, like many of the other reviews I am disappointed with the box lid lift. The solution that worked for me was to chop the roof off of both 1D pieces, and cut the bottom off of the bamboo tray so the final height is 2 5/8" now the player mats and rules fit nicely with no lift!

The organizer for Takenoko was easy to assemble and looks great because it matches the theme of the game well. It also fits the expansion well. My only issue is that it obviously doesn't take into account the player boards and rulebooks which could easily be fixed by adjusting the height of the insert so that the box lid fully closes correctly.
